There are more than 100 kilometres of nature trails within Surrey parks. You will find some that are hundreds of years old, some that offer world-class birding opportunities, and some that offer a breath of fresh air in busy city centres.

Sketching Series: Nature's Clothesline 

Thursdays | 3–4:30pm | Museum of Surrey 

Each week, 12 lucky guests will experience the Nature's Clothesline exhibit, sketchbook in hand. With space to social distance, participants will create artwork with supplies brought from home.

Birding walks 

November 21–December 19 | 10–11am | Various Parks 

Join a local naturalist to see and learn about the birds of Surrey. You'll see Surrey’s diverse habitats and get to know your local parks. Walks are rain or shine.  Bring your own binoculars and bird book if you have.  Space is limited. Pre-registration is required for all participants.

Guided Tours at Historic Stewart Farm

Wednesday–Saturday l 1–3:30pm l Historic Stewart Farm

Autumn is arguably one of the best times to stroll the grounds of this historic gem. Grab a camera and take in some local history with a free guided outdoor tour of the farm's picturesque grounds. Perfect for the family or social bubble (10 person limit). Pre-registration is required.

Focus on Seniors Webinar Series  

November 18–December 15 | 11am–12pm | Microsoft Teams 

Join us for two Focus on Seniors webinars this month! On October 21, hear from Surrey RCMP as they present on Senior Safety and share preventative tips on how you can avoid becoming a victim. Topics include personal safety, home security, pedestrian/auto safety and frauds/scams. Then on October 22, learn about recycling in Surrey, including Large Item Pickup, Return It Depots, how to differentiate between plastics that can and cannot be recycled.
