Parking Options

The City of Surrey manages parking to balance the needs of residents, motorists and visitors. Parking options include on-street parking and off-street parking (with or without pay station meters). The Highway and Traffic Bylaw No. 13007 outlines parking rules and regulations in the City of Surrey.

Street Parking

Street parking is available on a first come, first served basis. The street is open to the public and anybody may legally park on a residential street unless posted otherwise. No vehicle may remain parked in the same location on a public street for more than 72 hours.

If there is a car that has been parked in front of your house for more than 72 hours, contact City of Surrey Bylaw Enforcement Parking Services at 604-591-4352.

Parking Near Driveways

In Surrey, vehicles must not park within 1.5 metres (4.9 ft) of a driveway. If a vehicle is parked too close to your driveway, contact 604-591-4352. If your driveway is completely blocked after hours, call the RCMP non-emergency number at 604-599-0502.
