Candidate for Office of Councillor (Surrey Connect)



Crime Prevention, economic stability, and democratic participation are just some of Rochelle’s areas of interest.

She is a globally recognized youth leader and education advocate; currently sits on the City of Surrey Committee for Community Service, has worked for Parks and Recreation in Surrey, and formally worked as the CEO of a grass roots Non-Profit in Surrey. She also holds a Bachelors of Political Science from SFU, and a Masters of Education in Social Justice from the University of Toronto.

As Councillor, Rochelle will focus on:

- Creating a Mayor's Youth Advisory Council

- Enhancing Public Safety through youth prevention programming

- Developing technical training and soft skills programming to increase employment and improve economic stability
