As part of our phased approach, most Parks, Recreation & Culture facilities have reopened. Surrey Sport & Leisure Complex pool is scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, October 13. Follow surrey.ca/covid19 for specific facility re-opening and safety protocol updates.

Registered drop-in at facilities is now open! All activities must be pre-registered and will follow strict guidelines to ensure the health and safety of both patrons and staff.

How to Register

Participants must pre-register. On site registrations will not be accepted.

    • Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm for business hours
    • Registration phone line is open Sunday at 9pm to 11pm

To ensure fair access for all, registration will open 1 week prior. To help guide our decision making, we encourage you to join the wait list if classes are full.  So that everyone may participate, we respectfully ask that you limit yourself to one activity per day. Please review the ParQ+ fitness assessment sheet prior to registration.

Waitlist

Do not come to the recreation centre unless you have received a confirmation call that a spot has become available. Only those with confirmed bookings will be allowed inside.

Cancellations & Schedule Updates

  • Cardio Combo at Chuck Bailey Recreation Centre on Wednesday's at 12pm to 1pm will now be Body Sculpt
  • Boot Camp at Chuck Bailey Recreation Centre on Tuesday evening's is now cancelled.

Registered Drop-in Rates

  • Youth (13+ Years) - $3.75 
  • Adults (19 to 59 Years) - $7.25
  • Student/Seniors (60 to 69) - $5.50
  • Senior (70+ Years) - $1.75

Swipe Pass

Regular drop-in rates apply or to save money, purchase a 5,10 or 20 swipe pass.

Childminding

Childminding services at recreation facilities will be unavailable at this time.

Withdrawal Fee 

The withdrawal fee will be waived for patrons who need to cancel a booking due to illness.

Registration Tips

  • Registration for activities is now weekly and begins 1 week prior starting on Sundays at 9pm.
  • Registration remains open until the activity begins.
  • All registrants need a MySurrey account to register. Create one ahead of time if you don’t already have one.
  • We recommend using Chrome as your browser for the best experience.
  • If online early, refresh screen when registration opens.

For Everyone's Safety

General 

  • Pre-registration is required (including attendants)
  • Capacity will be limited.
  • Please stay home if sick.
  • Come dressed to workout, changerooms are closed.
  • Bring your own mask and wear when not able to maintain physical distance.
  • Bring your own filled water bottle and towel. Water fountains closed.
  • Arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to your start time to limit gathering.
  • Answer health screening questions and wash hands upon entry.
  • Maintain physical distancing at all times.
  • Follow directional signage.
  • Wash hands frequently.
  • Leave your valuables at home, lockers unavailable.

Weight Room

  • Patrons to clean equipment with disinfectant before and after using.
  • Sanitize hands when transitioning between equipment.

Fitness Classes

  • A minimum of 8 to 10 participants are required for activities to run.
  • Bring own equipment where appropriate (i.e. yoga mat).
  • Clean equipment with disinfectant provided.
  • Assigned equipment will receive additional disinfection between users.
  • Keep personal items within your workout area.

Gymnasium

  • Bring own equipment including racquets, birdies and balls.
  • Clean equipment with disinfectant provided.
  • No spectators.
